Assistant Manager of Production May 2009-Current Fish Breeders of Idaho

Managed day to day activities at multiple trout farms as well as 20 raceways of sturgeon. Utilized resources to accomplish overall trout production goals and various other projects within the company. Sexed and spawned sturgeon as needed seasonally.

Wet Lab Technician August 2003 – May 2009 University of Idaho, Aquaculture Research Institute

Designed and built over 30 flow-through and re-circulating systems for both salt and fresh water. Performed general maintenance and care for systems including sand filters, UV sterilizers, ozone generator and chilling units. Trained and supervised other employees. Monitored various water quality parameters using electronic devices as well as Hach kits, calculated fish inventories, spawned and incubated rainbow trout and Burbot, transported trout to various locations, and used welding and construction skills to build new systems.
