SBGA Accepting Entries for Landry Award

 

            The Striped Bass Growers Association (SBGA) is accepting entries for the Walter Landry Memorial Award to be awarded to a student for outstanding achievements in research on any of the species in the Morone genus and/or Morone hybrids.  The award and a travel assistance of $250 will be presented at the SBGA Annual Meeting, which is being held in conjunction with Aquaculture America 2006 in Las Vegas, NV.

           

Entries should be submitted to “Walter Landry Memorial Award”, Striped Bass Growers Association, 111 W. Washington Street, Suite 1, Charles Town, WV  25414-1529 or by e-mail to bhart@sc.rr.com  no later than November 15, 2005.  Applicants should identify their academic affiliation and provide a summary (maximum of 4 pages) detailing their research accomplishments.
