  • National Food Safety Initiative (NFSI) - For those persons interested in food safety grant programs that can address aquatic foods, in addition to other products, the following describes a new USDA-CSREES National Food Safety Initiative and changes that have occurred from past CSREES food safety research and extension grant programs. The following information was developed by Jan Singleton, National Program Leader Food Science and Food Safety. This information can be used to initiate planning activities for preparing a proposal.
