USIA Invites Applications for Exchange Projects


The U.S. Information Agency's Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs is inviting applications for exchange projects that address issues of crucial importance to the United States and proposed partner countries in designated theme and other areas. The deadline is October 15. Proposals requesting $135,000 or less will receive preference. U.S. private section, nonprofit organizations are eligible to apply. Funding is for cooperative international group projects that introduce American and foreign participants to each others' social, economic and political structures.
