CSREES Seeks Nominations for National Awards Program

The CSREES Higher Education Programs office is seeking nominations for the National Awards Program for Excellence in College and Teaching in the Food and Agricultural Sciences. This program honors a select group of excellent teachers at the undergraduate level. The program is designed to focus national attention on the teaching role as a key element in the development of expertise in the food and agricultural sciences.

Nominations are due on April 15, 1999. Awards will be announced in the fall at a national ceremony. Copies of the program announcement will be mailed out in early February. Guidelines and forms will also be available then on the agency's website via:
