1998 Conference: SEAFOOD SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY SOCIETY OF THE AMERICAS

PURPOSE:

Annual meeting to discuss developments in technology, regulation and commerce of seafoods and aquaculture products relative to product quality, product safety, processing, storage, transport, marketing, value added concepts and related topics.

Reserve lodging ASAP! due to the popular site, excellent room rates and high season. Also, the 1998 SST Conference precedes the regionally popular annual meeting of the GULF & CARIBBEAN FISHERIES INSTITUTE, November 8-14.

TRAVEL:

Airline service via American Airlines, Delta and USAir. Taxi service available from airport to hotel (20 min. @ $12). Common car rentals available but driving is on left side of the road.

NOTE: Reserve airlines in advance to reduce rates.

CALL FOR PAPERS:

Abstracts (approx. 100 words) describing technical results, projects, program developments or plans and any related topics per the SST purpose should be submitted by October 1st . Selections will be compiled by October 10th. Submit to:
